Join us as we put faith into action with a community outreach inspired by Isaiah 55:1 — where the only currency needed is a willing heart.
Where Mercy Meets Mission
Published: 7-23-2025
In partnership with In Flight Missions, a local body of believers hosted an outreach unlike most, built entirely on the heart of God’s generosity. On Saturday, July 26, what was called the “Buy Without Money” event was presented as a community-wide, no-strings-attached act of love.
Beginning at 8:00 AM, the grounds were opened for a completely free yard sale. Guests were invited to take what they needed with no prices and no pressure. Starting at 9:00 AM, a car wash operated at no charge, offered simply in love. A lemonade and water stand was also set up to serve anyone who was thirsty. Whether someone stopped by for a cool drink, prayer, or a friendly face, a warm welcome awaited them.
There was no cost to participate and no expectation to give. Any donations received were directed toward the ongoing work of In Flight Missions and local ministry efforts. The focus of the day was clear: grace was the point. The purpose was to serve, to pray, and to remind the community that the greatest gift has already been paid for. Prayer was requested in advance, that God would draw those in need, open doors for Gospel conversations, and pour out His presence on both volunteers and guests. Opportunities were provided for individuals to serve, donate items, or give financially in support of the outreach.
“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.”
Isaiah 55:1 And so, it was poured out freely.
